How do I make a purchase?
Browse through all our collections: New Arrivals, Sort by Collection, Sort by Categories for Ahilya. Once you have found an item, click on 'Add to Jewel Cart' button. Review your selection by clicking the 'Jewel Cart' link at the top of the page. You can use the 'Remove' symbol to delete items from your Jewel Cart. If you wish to continue browsing, click on 'Continue Shopping' button. To complete your order, click on 'Place this order' button here you’ll also get option to put discount code. If there is any offer or you know any discount code you can put it here to avail the offer.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
YES, you can browse through the collections without creating an account and select merchandise you like. But to be able to buy, you need to set up an account which is a fairly easy process.

I have forgotten my password. What should I do?
If you have forgotten your password, click on 'FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD' and enter your registered e-mail address. You will be sent a link to reset your password.
How should I know the products you sell are authentic?
We unconditionally guarantee that every item we sell is 100% authentic and that the materials used are true. We provide customers with Authenticity cards. Hallmarking is the accurate determination and official recording of the proportionate content of the precious metal in gold or silver articles. Hallmarking provides total product assurance and satisfaction that the consumer gets the right purity for a given price.
Each piece of jewellery sold from Ahilya has been tested and individually hallmarked. It bears a BIS 92.5 Hallmark, the quality standard recognized by the Government of India. The assurance of our quality is such that you will receive a certificate with every piece you buy from us.
What size should I choose?
Most rings and bangles are sold by size. Please Click here to refer to our sizing charts for further details. Sizing guide is available on the homepage footer. We have also provided the actual dimensions of each product for you. We have ensured that most of our rings have adjustable shanks to avoid any confusion. Please check the product description to get an idea of the same.

Are the colours of products shown on the website accurate?
While we have made every effort to display colours of the products to appear as accurately as possible on the site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen's display of any colour will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary. Some products may also appear smaller or larger than their image displayed on the site.
How do I know if an item is in stock?
All items are in stock unless 'SOLD OUT'/’OUT OF STOCK’ is displayed. Please be aware that even if an item is in ‘YOUR CART’, it can still be bought by another customer until you have completed your order. If the product you want to buy is out of stock, please email us at info@ahilyajewels.com to find out if there is a backorder for that item (you will need to be a registered user) or choose ‘Show Interest’ button to receive a notification when the product is back in stock.
Can I re-order an item that is sold out on the website?
Yes. We do get fresh stock of products that are sold out. Because of our products being hand crafted, it could take up to 4 weeks. There is a ‘Show Interest’ link right next to the Sold Out sign under each product, you can fill in your details and you will be notified via email once that item is back in stock.
What payment methods does Ahilya accept?
We accept Credit/Debit/Net banking payments via CC Avenue for domestic and international. For orders within India, we also offer Cash on Delivery option which is limited to Rs.5000 for Uttar Pradesh and up to 10,000 for rest of the India.
For international purchases, we do not offer COD option. We accept Master Card, Visa, PayPal, Teletransfer and American Express.
Is shipping free anywhere in India?
Yes. Shipping is free all over India on orders above Rs. 999. For orders less than Rs. 999 we have a fixed shipping fee of Rs 150.
Is it safe to use my credit card online at Ahilya?
At Ahilya, your personal online security is important to us. The payment gateway- CC Avenue takes care of the security by capturing the credit card and sending it directly to the bank. They use a secure line and SSL. We as a merchant are not allowed to store any credit card information at our portal. You may also choose to securely store your credit card details with us. This means you will not have to enter them again during future purchases, making it quicker and simpler to shop at Ahilya.
Why do I need to re-enter my credit card details when I add a new address?
For your security, whenever you request delivery to a new address we will ask you to provide new credit or debit card details (if you have previously stored them with the payment gateway). In case you are not registered with payment gateway, you will have to enter your card details every time you make a purchase. If someone guesses your password and tries to make an order using your account, they will be unable to do so. We hope you understand that this is a valuable precaution designed to protect your personal information.
Do I need to sign for my order at the time of delivery?
Due to the high value of the goods that we sell, we require proof of delivery for all orders. This means we are unable to authorize packages to be delivered without a signature and proof of ID.
Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?
Unfortunately, we are unable to redirect orders once your items have been dispatched.
Can I add items to an existing order?
Yes, you may add items to an existing order provided we have not yet dispatched it. If we have already dispatched your package you will need to make a new order.
How will I know you have received my order and when will the payment be deducted?
After placing an order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received. Payment is deducted only after you have completed the checkout process and made a final transaction. In rare instance if any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you by email or via phone and refund you the amount that has been paid by you during the transaction.
How long will it take for my order to get delivered?
Orders within India are shipped & delivered within 3-4 working days and abroad are shipped and delivered within 10-15 business days (9am-5pm, Monday to Saturday). Delivery time may exceed depending on the locations and availability of the piece.
How much duties and taxes will I have to pay?
Product Prices displayed are inclusive of all taxes and duties. For orders shipped within India, a GST applicable of 3%. We offer free shipping anywhere in India on orders above Rs. 999. For orders less than Rs. 999, we have a fixed shipping fee of Rs 150.
For International Customers all orders are shipped to on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. For international orders and deliveries, shipping charges have to be borne by the customer and he is also liable to pay additional customs, duties, taxes, or any other expenses that relate to the country’s regulations. In our checkout page we will only mention the courier costs to an international destination. Any other costs (customs, duties, taxes) will be over and above the same. The dollar price is inclusive of the insurance amount.
Can I buy in India and ship it abroad?
If a product is purchased in India and is being shipped abroad, international shipping charges will be applicable. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are in, payment of these at the time of delivery is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival. For international orders and deliveries, shipping charges have to be borne by the customer and he is also liable to pay additional customs, duties, taxes, or any other expenses that relate to the country’s regulations. In our checkout page we will only mention the courier costs to an international destination. Any other costs (customs, duties, taxes) will be over and above the same. The dollar price is inclusive of the insurance amount.
Can I buy a product outside India and ship it to India?
If a product is purchased outside India and Ahilya has to ship it within India then shipping charges will not be applicable but 3% GST will be charged.
Is my package insured?
All items are insured from Ahilya against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit to the shipping address. Once your items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance. If your box is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that you either refuse the delivery, or make a note when signing for it that you are accepting a damaged box and inform us immediately.
Can I return the jewellery I buy online?
In case of damaged/defected/wrong piece received please inform us within 12 hours of receipt of order. You must email info@ahilyajewels.com or call us on 9699458585 to notify us.
What are cookies? Should I be worried about them?
A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer's hard drive by your web browser which tracks your movements within websites. We use cookies to keep track of how often you visit our website, the contents of your jewel cart, previous purchases and to deliver content specific to your interests. They are designed to assist your shopping and are therefore nothing to worry about. Most browsers are automatically set up to accept cookies, but usually you can alter the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance. If you choose not to receive cookies, you may still use most of the features of our website, including the ability to purchase items.
Registered customers who have cookies enabled will be automatically recognized when they visit Ahilya - your name will appear in a welcome message at the top left hand corner of the website. When you proceed to purchase you will be prompted to enter your email address and password and review your shipping and payment details before completing your order.
I own a shop and want to sell Ahilya jewellery. How can I do so?

What are the terms and condition for using a gift card?
Ahilya offers you to customize your own personal message in the gift card. It is emailed directly to the recipient. You need to provide us with information like amount, currency, recipient information, sender’s information and a personal message.
It has to be used online until the total amount has been spent. Each purchase will be deducted from the balance. No refund is available and the gift card should be used within 6 months of issuing.
Gift card is not a cash card. This card is not redeemable for cash and credit
Gift Card will expire in 6 months from the date of Issue.
All returns/refund are subject to exchange and return policy. www.ahilyajewels.com reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of Gift Card at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the card, at its discretion, it deem such as action necessary.
Till how long will the gold plating last?
Since the products are gold plated and not polished, they will literally last forever as long as you are just a bit careful of only 2 things - do not expose to perfume spray and water. If you do that, plating will last for decades.
Rule regarding any customized product
The client will have to pay full 100% advance and these pieces will not be accepted as a Return.
